Dr. Gamaliel Tan is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon in Singapore who works closely with patients seeking care for spine conditions. As a spine specialist, he supports patients through diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
As an experienced spine surgeon in Singapore, Dr. Tan specialises in procedures such as endoscopic spine surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery and motion preservation techniques (artificial disc replacements) that provide an alternative to standard spine surgery. He also manages all conditions of the spine related to degeneration, fractures, tumours, infections and deformity of the spine.
Dr. Tan graduated from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 1995. He obtained his FRCS (Edin) in 2005 whilst working at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He was awarded a Ministry of Health (MOH) scholarship to specialise in spine surgery in the University of Toronto in 2006, where he spent a year in Toronto Western Hospital working with Prof MG Fehlings.
